Raptor Research Foundation’s 5th Eurasian Conference

The Georgian Center for the Conservation of Wildlife (GCCW) and the Directorate for Environment and Natural Resources of Adjara (DENRA) are pleased to announce the Raptor Research Foundation’s 5th Eurasian Conference to be held in Batumi, Republic of Georgia from October 9th through 13th 2007.

Hosted by GCCW and DENRA, this international conference will be held in the coastal town of Batumi, southwestern Georgia, known for its Black Sea beaches, temperate cloud forests and raptor migration sites. The conference will include a full program of scientific presentations, workshops and symposia, as well as social events to include wine tours and birding trips.

Registration will open via this website in February 2007 and priority will be given to Raptor Research Foundation members. If you are not already a member, you can join on-line.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held in a conference room at Shota Rustaveli State University. The conference room seats 300 people and is equipped with all necessary capabilities. The university is located at the central part of Batumi and within a walking distance of most hotels.
